LONG GUN SAFE – BOLT-DOWN INSTRUCTIONS
THE RIGHT WAY TO SET UP YOUR SAFE
At SA Consumer Products, we consider your safety and security a team effort. That’s why we don’t just sell safes—we also provide you with the information you need to feel secure and act safely. Take some time to browse our resources to learn more about our products, best practices and more.
It’s important to use caution when setting up your new or used safe. Failure to follow these guidelines could lead to serious injury.
The setup and bolt-down process requires two people. Please do not attempt to set up your safe on your own.
While a second person holds the safe to keep it from tipping, remove the steel shipping feet from the safe. Remember, safes can tip over if not stabilized during this step, causing serious injury.
If you are unable to safely perform this setup process or have any questions about the setup process, please contact our Customer Service department at 1-888-792-4264 for further assistance.
TIP OVER HAZARD
A child or adult can tip the safe and be killed or seriously injured. Failer to secure the safe as shown in these instructions can result in death or serious injury to children or adults. Children should not play with or around the safe at any time.

WARNING: YOUR VAULT IT DESIGNED TO SUPPORT ITSELF WHEN THE DOOR IS OPENED. HOWEVER, CAUTION SHOULD BE USED TO AVOID TIPPING AND SAFETY HAZARDS. THE VAULT MUST EBE SECURED TO THE FLOOR OR WALL. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL COMPROMISE THE SAFETY AND SECURITY OF THE VAULT.
A security cable is included with your vault. To secure the cable around a fixed object, first loop the cable around the object as shown in the figure to the right.
Insert the cable's metal peg end into the hole on the side of the vault while still open.
From inside of the vault, take the cable clip and push it over the metal peg until fully secured. Use pliers to seat the cable clip if needed.
Check the loop to ensure there is no way it can be manipulated to be easily removed from the fixed object before leaving unattended.
